Ingredients
1 ½ lbs ground beef (80/20 is best)
¾ cup plain breadcrumbs
½ cup whole milk
1 small yellow onion, finely chopped
1 large egg
1 tsp kosher salt & ½ tsp black pepper
Glaze: ½ cup ketchup, 2 tbsp brown sugar, 1 tbsp yellow mustard
Instructions
Preheat: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with foil.
Mix: In a large bowl, gently combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, chopped onion, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix just until blended to keep it tender.
Shape: Transfer the meat mixture to your baking sheet and form it into a 9x5-inch loaf.
Glaze: Whisk the ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard together. Spread it evenly over the top of the loaf.
